Battery Pinout -> Solution for Possible Better Battery Alternative

I wasn't suggesting just plain battery packs, there are plenty of devices that have proprietary battery packs, with management ICs for charging, but not the extensive PCB that is found in the anafi batteries.

But as explained above, the PCB on the anafi only adds a few dollars to the BOM, but it allows them to justify the exorbitant margins they get on battery packs.
What is the flight time that you get with the 3500MaH Li packs.

I am late to the party, I bought my anafi two months ago second hand (it was a deliberate act, I know it's no longer supported).
Like everyone here, I am considering rebuilding batterypacks in order to increase flight time (my second hand betteries are crap with 10 min max of flight time). Here you have the pictures I took when disassembling one of the batteries that was most robably already disassembled by a guy who replaced the Lithium cells (the seller had one of the batteries refurbished buy a single guy).

I am currently reverse-engineering the battery :
Fisrtly, I will make a 3D-printed support in order to be able to swap the inner battery with an XT-30 connector,
then I will dive into the chargin pcb to see if I can emulate the minimal functions : battery state, activation with the power button

I will be very interested in your discoveries.
I seem to remember reading somewhere that if you removed power from the battery pcb's they would lock out and not work when the new battery was connected but I could be wrong. If you search the forum there is a thread from a member who offered replacement battery cells but they have not been online for quite a while.

Thanks a lot, unfortunately, solaris shop shut down so I am on my own about sourcing the lithium cells, . I will continue research and keep you updated
