Calibrate vs where you fly calibration

If we are going to take a flight in an area of semi industrial / commercial layout with interferences, should we calibrate in a clean area first?

We all would think the clean area calibration would be the answer. The reason I ask this is because well maybe it is better if we calibrate in the same interference area that we will fly in due to a possibilty that the magnetometer may acclimate the fields already there and cancel them out for the actual flying in a high interference area.
To rephrase maybe calibration can set better if it already sees the magnetic fields as error correction and just puts an avoidance on those fields upon completing calibration for sensing what fields are already there to fly cleanly?
