Connecting Skycontroller 2 to iPad

Greetings. I am having issues with connectivity to my iPad. The instructions provided are vague at best. The drone and the controller are linked. But I've tried everything and my iPad will not connect to the controller. It recognizes the drone. I've tried in airplane mode etc. thanks for any suggestions.

Are you connecting to the controller and ipad with a lead? Try a selective boot up of all three, turning on all at different times. Also try with airplane on and off and with just mobile data and wifi on and off selectively.. I wouldent turn airplane mode on with the controller because it turns GPS of unless you preload maps...just ideas..
