Just curious if you can just purchase a new Anafi drone from Parrot (i.e., without the controller)??? This could obviously come in handy if you were to crash your drone and it's beyond repair and you just need to replace the drone...no need to repurchase the controller. DJI has a drone only price...hopefully Parrot has or will offer a similar option.

Let me know.

Cheers,

Not sure they do, and to be honest I have not seen any advertised either on eBay or Amazon here in the UK. You can find the controller going by themselves fairly frequently, user generally loses the Anafi as opposed to the SC3. From Parrot's point of view, the price difference in selling just the Anafi, against the complete kit, is probably not worth their time.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't seen any stand alone drones for sale either but I'm sure there is a market out there for people who only need the drone and it will continue to grow over time. I'm guessing if they sold just the Anafi they could sell it for a $100 less than the complete package...and that would make it worthwhile for the buyer and probably make them plenty of profit at the same time...whether that would be worthwhile for Parrot is another question. Customer loyalty is important for Parrot's longevity and sometimes doing things to help their existing customers (those who may have lost their drone) stick with them is more important than maximizing profit on every aspect of their business. People who have just lost their drone due to a crash are at a crossroads are more likely to choose to purchase a drone from another manufacturer....why not try and give those customers some incentive to stick with them. (Parrot are you listening?) I'm jussayin...
