The bird was 400’ up and over 3000’ our when it lost camera connection...fuzzy black dots are hard to steer by!
Thankfully it was pointing in a safe direction, telemetry was still working, as well as controls. I nursed it back by sound, not really trusting the numbers. Then RTH kicked in and it really was still over 300’ up.
It landed safely in my hand...what a relief.
Tech support recommended switching the WiFi frequency if there are warning messages...but that requires landing, which costs battery time.
