FreeFlight Pro is NOT dead: Legacy Edition for Bebop, Bebop 2, Bluegrass & Disco

Hi everyone!

After quite a bit of work and testing, I now have a fully working enhanced FreeFlight Pro 5.2.7 Legacy Edition for: Bebop 1 · Bebop 2 · Bluegrass · Disco

Flight Plan is included and fully functional, and I've significantly improved the offline map experience, allowing much sharper high-resolution maps to be preloaded before flying.
I also managed to package everything into a single All-in-One APK.

Install → Open → Fly.
Single All-in-One APK — no separate OBB installation or manual file copying

Modern Android blocked legacy APK installation and restrict manual access to the Android/OBB folder, causing the installation to fail.
but my All-in-One build removes the need for manual OBB copying, although some devices may still require approval or an installation bypass for legacy apps.

Testing: Successfully tested a completely clean installation on a modern Android phone, including Android 16, and everything is working beautifully.
For now I'm not publishing the package, as I first want to understand whether distributing the complete build is appropriate and /or legal.

But I'm curious: How many of you are still flying a Bebop 1, Bebop 2, Bluegrass or Disco?
And more importantly... Would anyone here actually be interested in this?

If there's enough interest, we'll see where we can take the project next.
So after all, my old Parrots still have plenty of flying left in them!

Very good work! Happy to hear someone is working on the mobile app side, On the computer side, I have developed an app that supports bb1 bb2 disco (not tested but it should work), sc2, normal gamepad input, the sumo series and the mini drones (mambo with attachments but not the fpv version tested). If you want any reverse engineering info on the protocols for any of the devices I listed feel free to message me! Kudos, stellar work. I'm personally very interested. I still use a Bebop 2 for many things (roof inspections, river survey, forest survey) and I'm terminally allergic to e-waste. I want to keep using it and my new android phone is blocking me completely.

Please feel free to download it, install it and give it a proper test with your setup. I’d really appreciate your feedback, especially regarding installation, compatibility and general stability.
For now, I’d prefer to keep this link between us while we make sure everything works as expected. Once you’ve had a chance to test it and we’re confident that the package is working properly also for you, I'll make it available to the wider community through the forum.
