Introduce Yourself!

Hi Guys Davy here from Belfast.
New to the Anafi but did have an AR drone afew years back.
Thank you for the add.

Welcome to the Forum. I think you will enjoy your membership. There are many other members happy to provide assistance for any issues you may have, and those that may need information you bring. A lot of good information is already stored in existing threads.

Couple easy things:
1.) The search Icon is your friend. It's the magnifying glass near the upper right of the screen when you scroll all the way up. It can find many answers you will never find by yourself.
2.) Be aware that you won't always get a quick response. There are times when many other members are on line, and sometimes only a few. A response may not show up until the right person sees it.
3.) Be aware the forum is Global. If you are exchanging with a member on the other side of the world, response can get delayed and out of sequence due to a difference in local time.
4.) Although the Forum is global, the language is English. It is customary to translate other languages to English. Many members also include the original language post to help alleviate translation errors.
5.) Review the forum rules (on the bottom right). There are not too many, but it is important they are followed to keep the Forum a useful and happy place for everyone.

Hi guys, am from UK, just got my first anafi work, so spending the day, charging up and ready to go. Planning to use with my work, once I get commercial licence. But meanwhile flying around getting the hang of things

A warm welcome to the group from Manchester. If this is your first multirotor craft then I advise you take things in "baby steps" to avoid any unwanted incidents.

Also please ensure that you fly in accordance with the current restrictions on movement and CAA regulations (you need to have a flyers number and register your Anafi). Drones did not have a very good reputation with some of the general public before coronavirus and I would not want it to get any worse.

Hi already registered, don’t worry, live in the countryside, so plenty of space to practice, if my neighbours moan, then i Be asking what they are doing on my land. ?? I think the drone has enough distance to chase them away, only kidding

Hello friends,
I am Antoine, proud owner of a parrot Anafi drone. I am an avid photographer which led me to develop an interest in drones as they offer very interesting possibilities when it comes to framing an image. While trying to get a particularly fancy shot I got too close to a three and crashed this precious flying object... which I am currently trying to repair. Truth be told this may be the main reason I joined this forum. Still, I am looking forward to meet everyone. Some names here are aready familiar as I am often looking for informations on the forum.

Adding a short video of what I captured so far with my Anafi <
>. Being confined doesn't help with landscape diversity, but don't hesitate to take a look. Also if there is any french pilot please let me know I'd be happy to meet for a flight —if I fix the drone that is...

Cheers,

Hello All,

My name is Justin and I am first time drone owner and pilot. I am loving the drone so far. I chose the anafi for price vs the video capabilities as I am a video producer but not ready to break the bank as I learn. It has had a steep learning curve but the drone has weathered a few minor crashes already as I learn.

Hi! I just picked up a used Bebop in Louisiana as an entry level drone to do aerial video and photos. I'm waiting on a charger, then I'll see what this thing can do...

Hello, my name is Airton, I'm from São Paulo, Brazil. I have a Parro Anafi.
I am a specialist in failure analysis. I have worked for almost 40 years in this area, analyzing failures in airplanes, automobiles, trains and industrial equipment. It has a company that provides consulting services and material analysis.

Hi, I'm Andy, I live in South Wales Uk. I have been flying a bebop2 for a few months. Still getting used to it. But it's very enjoyable to fly. That was until yesterday. I will post my problem on the correct page. I'm really looking forward to getting flying tips and any useful information from you guys that helps me get the best from my drone. Thanks.

Hello all, my name Alexander and I‘m from Germany.

Hi there.
my names Derek. I fly a Parrot Bebop 2 in Scotland.
ive had it just over a year and absolutely love it. I’ve just posted a problem I’m having over in the bebop 2 forum if anyone can help me out. Looking forward to gaining some knowledge and sharing some experiences.

Hello, my name is Brian. I am from the United States, but have been living in Norway for the past 4 years. I got my bebop 2 back in 2016 and have been flying it off and on over the years. The bebop 2 is the only drone I have flown and I use the sky controller to pilot it. I have done some navigational lighting mods and I am looking to chat here to find out some more about expanding the memory of these drones.

Hello, I am not experienced pilot, but I am interested mostly in photography and video production. i think drone footage is a great chance to make the project more adventurous.
I purchased Parrot Anafi, and i am really impressed so far. Such a great drone, so easy to control. I am very cautious, as i know it is also easy to experience problems and loose the toy...
Here's my first flight video:

Cheers!

Hi all, I've recently joined here and am one of the rare girls who loves drone flying. I live in Cornwall, UK near RNAS Culdrose so I have to travel a bit to be able to fly.

I got the Parrot Anafi as I'd seen how good it looked on you tube videos and I liked the idea of being able to have a portable drone to encourage my photography. We'll, it's been amazing in the 6 or 7 flights I've had from it so far, blown away by how capable this little drone is, managing the Cornish winds is no mean feat.

As a kid I'd always wanted to fly, now I can not only fly, but combine it with taking photos of our wonderful Cornish scenery.

Always nice to see what others are doing with this wonderful hobby. I was out yesterday evening at Hayle and a guy pitched up with a DJI Inspire 2. To say the scale of the tiny ANAFI to his Inspire was pretty insane. The advantage of having the ANAFI, I can chuck it in my bag lol, not lug it in a heavy crate. Nice to see what £15k will buy you, (I'd be afraid to fly it as it costs more than our car!) but overall I'm still happy with my ANAFI.

Well that's my intro. Nice to meet you all ?
