Hello. I am a PhD student in coastal habitat ecology using remote sensing in Florida (USA). I have a Parrot ANAFI AI to get RGB orthos.

Hi all, I'm Dim, a newbie in drone flying but have been reading a lot about it last months. I want to experiment drone photogrammetry for my research (landscape ecology, conservation and restoration planning, etc), and decided to buy a second hand Parrot Anafi to start experimenting (cheap, and interesting specs for my use). I just got one a few days ago, and already ran into some trouble with "legacy" software issues. This forum gave me a lot of answers, and helped me find a solution to my problem that I now want to share

I'm from Uruguay. I got into the world of drones back in 2016, and I became a fan of Parrot drones.
My first drone was a Rolling Spider (which I still have).
In 2017 I bought a second-hand Parrot Bebop, which turned out to be very good. A couple of years ago I bought two second-hand Parrot Bebop 2s.
But I couldn't get them to work, the Free Flight Pro app was no longer in the Play Store. In this forum I found the solution to the problem and I was able to fly and enjoy my Parrot drones again.
Seeing other topics and information discussed here, I decided to subscribe.

Recently bought a bebop and a bebop2 from a goodwill site. I have been trying to use them with a iphone7. New to higher cost drones and these seemed like a decent buy. Just need batteries to really try them out more, hopefully I can get some before spring.

My first adventure with drones is just beginning. As of today, I have become the owner of a Parrot Anafi Thermal drone. The drone was bought second-hand. After the battle of launching the FreeFlight 6 application on a phone with Android 14, everything finally went well (of course, apart from some sacrifices related to lost time and anger - many thanks for the invaluable advice on this forum and the remnants of the cleverness ). I am the owner and entrepreneur of a design, implementation and consulting company in Katowice, Poland. We provide services in the field of district heating networks and installations, power engineering, HVAC, building control and energy efficiency. I hope that after the bad beginnings, the rest will go smoothly and it will be a beautiful time using new technology for professional work and for pleasure.

Hello!
I am from Seattle, WA and I have been flying Parrot drones since 2017! I joined this because I am interested in doing some mods to my drones. I eventually want to use them for long range FPV missions. My first goal is to get my Bebop 2 to fly using high capacity 21700 batteries. I've done the XT60 connector mod already. I also want to design a custom extended frame for my bebop 1 to try to get as much battery on board as possible.

Hello, I'm AER and new to the Parrots Pilots Drone Forum. I've owned a Parrot AR drone 2.0 for seven years. I never really got around to flying it because the battery in it was bad. I then used a different 11.1-volt lipo battery, which caused a component on the mainboard to burn out. It took until I could order a new component. I recently found someone who could solder it for me. I thought it was fixed, but the drone didn't make a sound. There must be something else damaged that isn't visible.
I recently managed to buy a different, but identical, drone, and this one works.
I searched online for more information about this drone, and that's how I ended up here. I hope to find more information about my drone here.

My name is Moritz, I am from Germany and i have my Parrot Minidrones Airborne Night and my Parrot jumping race drone. I am not a huge drone Pilot but i just find it sad to have these two laying around and not being able to use them because Parrot discontinued the apps. Could someone maybe tell me wich "thread" or wich topic i should at best post my next thread about a question i have about the failed synchronisation after installing the freeflight mini app APK please?
