Motor Cut Off

Is there any way of stopping the motors after a landing when they don't cut off?? Seemed to have a perfect flight yesterday, precise RTH was set, good GPS lock etc, flew home flawlessly but after I had it landed (on a hele pad) the motors didn't cut out. It started to do a bit of a jig so tried to press the button on the battery, in the process caught my fingers which caused the motors to stop, but even then it took a while for everything to cut out. When I looked at the log it shows a landing altitude of -1.1 then -0.8m rather than the usual 0m. If anything, I'd have thought this might have caused to motors to cut out before landing. Any ideas?

My understanding (from all the hand landings I do!) is that it uses the bottom ultrasound sensor to detect it has hit the ground /or/ hand, and then switches off the motors.

The altitiude should not make any difference to how that operates.

I've had this same thing happen more than once, usually with a bit of wind. After being bitten I won't grab it unless I can get it from underneath. Since then I just hold the left stick hard down and the motors will stop after a few seconds. Whether it dances off the launch pad in the meantime is not predictable. :(

Today (22/11/19) updated the software and firmware and had exact the same problem (don't know the hight level, can't find the log file). Already have the Anafi for almost 2 years, it never happened before :-(. Also held the left stick for many seconds down, the motors didn't stop :(. Would be helpful (like the Bebop 2 had/have) to have a programmable motor emergency shutdown button. Any suggestions?

If this happens every time you try to land on a pad your only temporary recourse is to hover it and grab it from underneath and turn it on its side. Then start the process of complaining to Parrot.

Indeed, that's the only option I have. But luckily after a reset and new calibration I dared to fly again and I did happened a second time. So I guess it was bad luck ;-). Thanks for your reply! Ton
