I’m very new to this, and got my disco yesterday after wanting one for years.
Unfortunately, my first few flights have ended in disaster
On 2 separate battery’s, I’ve had the parrot discos motor stop, and a cut out alert appear on my phone. I have no idea why. This alert the first time allowed me to glide the aircraft down fairly gently, and the second time, caused the motor to spin up again and accelerate towards the ground in a nose dive.
Now, both times I’ve flow it’s been windy, around 20mph winds, and I could tell it was struggling.
Could this be the reason? The drone struggling to fly and the motor shutting down after being overamped?
I’m not too sure as I’ve never experienced this before. Really sucks as the drone is now damaged, and the front nose cone is broken.
I really want to experience this to its fullest potential but I’m now terrified of flying it.
