Can any French members of this forum confirm that some kind of No Fly Zone software will be required for recreational drones after this year? (as in DJI)

Could this mean that buying an Anafi now may not be a great idea for flying in France?

Is there an English version of the new rules that I can read?
We hope to resume our holidays in France once COVID has been tamed.

Those new rules are the new european rules, not specially made for France.
I think you can read this french site, which you can translate in google translation for example:

I’m not able to explain all thoses informations in English, sorry

The EU EASA rules do not require remote ID or any other restrictions on drones below 800grams - and there is no place in the rules around drone CE markings to accommodate or force geofencing.

Remember any drone with a CE mark bought in any EU state is legal to fly in every other EU state in the CE category of the device. Not sure how the French can unilaterally decide that all CE marked drones would also have to have geofencing!
