I'm actually not asking for help as we have figured this out, but I am posting this for posterity so that someone else will know how to fix it if they have the same problem.

We purchased the Parrot Anafi AI in February.

A few days ago, we received our AT&T SIM card for use with the drone.

We installed the SIM card following he instructions here.

The first problem was that the card was marked as ready, but it never prompted for the PIN code for the SIM. At first, we were attempting to leave the tablet on WiFi.

We spoke with the AT&T rep and he told us the SIM was active and that it did not need a PIN, but if it asked for one the default for their pins was usually (1111).

Because we could not get this to work, I went ahead and had IT install an eSIM on our IPAD mini 6. Once that was in place, the tablet connected and indicated it was talking to Parrot's server.

We still did not have a connection on the drone.

I found a post here where someone had a problem with Verizon and fixed it by setting the APN.

Here are the APN numbers for AT&T

We set the APN to "Broadband" and the drone connected, and the tablet showed a complete connection.

Hope this helps someone.

I still don't know whether this would have worked if the tablet didn't also have an eSIM, but it is working in this configuration.

We submitted several help tickets about this issue to Parrot Support but never heard back. Perhaps they will eventually give us these instructions, but they have not been quick to respond.
