Today I was able to test solar charging the Anafi battery with great success. I used a 60 watt folding solar panel from AllPowers. It took about an hour and 35 minutes to go from 50% to fully charged. This is a really big deal for me as I often take extended trips in the wild or on the river where I will be away from any power source for many days. (Next year I will be doing a 24 day trip on the river. ) It is impractical, expensive or impossible to take enough batteries.
On previous excursions, I have taken my homebuilt quads, a Typhoon H or a Mavic Pro. In every case, I had to limit flights to conserve batteries and still ran out before the end of the trip.
So i am happy to say I finally have a working solution. I have also been able to charge a powerbank with the solar panel and then use it to charge the batteries, RC and phone.
