Unable to switch of Sky Controller III

Hi All,
My Sky Controller 3 does not switch off at all when closing it. So i have to let it on charge all the time before any flight.
Any suggestions?

If you are in warranty, send it back for repair. if not, open up the controller and use a meter to test the switch. If it is bad you can replace the board with the switch on it or simply add an external switch, I added a switch so that I could turn off the controller while it is open, That way, I can leave my tablet attached and not have to disassemble everything to power it off.

Hi all,
I am new Parrot ANAFI drone user, any Parrot ANAFI experts could teach me how to add an additional power-on/off switch or button on Skycontroller 3 ? I saw a video on youtube in before, the guys add an additional small push button (not slide button) in rear side of the Skycontroller 3. However, I could not find that video again.
I am appreciated if any experts (like "LivinLarge") can provide the instructions and photos for I can do it myself

No one has posted any links that work to momentary or slide switches. There are things to know first, what amperage rating for switch? Look where he put it on the handle, Why?
Dont put the switch to shutoff battery, put the switch to replace the old one. The SC3 is a computer it has to be shutdown properly. You dont unplug your phone battery to turn it off, there is a shutdown process.

Controller switch modification

Modified my Anafi controller to add a switch so that the controller can be turned off while opened up. I bridged across the terminals on the existing switch and left it in place so that the controller will still shut off when closed even if the new switch is left in the on position.
