Seems like so long as you have line of sight and avoid flying near buildings which may have wifi, then a long range is possible. In a city though, you get much less range. That's a compromise as compared to my DJI Mavic (which seems unaffected by interference) but I still prefer the Anafi as...
Interesting to see that video though, because it shows that the 4km range claim is based on fact, even if most of the time it would never be possible to achieve!
The photos were taken on the same day, the Mavic ones first of all, and then the Anafi ones about 5 mins later. There was no change in the weather conditions as it was overcast and misty throughout.

These photos were taken in rubbish weather - misty, overcast with winds gusting to approx 20mph.
The Mavic was rock solid in these conditions, whereas the lighter...
Thanks for all the replies - i just wanted to be sure there was no fault with the Anafi and from the replies, looks like it is performing in line with expectations so I'm happy.
Hi there,
I tested the range on my Anafi to be approx 350 metres in CE mode, before the FPV started to get interference with approx 550m absolute maximum range at which auto return to home was initiated.
This involved flying over some housing (where the wifi signal diminished significantly )...
Hi there,
Finally opened my Anafi and flew it on Christmas day! Everything works fine except for a strange issue with the app.
I cannot register or log in to my parrot no matter what I do - it seems like the android app is unable to tell i'm connected to the internet even though i'm fully...
Hi there,
I currently have a DJI Mavic Pro (1st version) which has a 12MP camera. My primary use for the drone is for taking still photos of buildings and landscapes - I don't do much with Video.
I was wondering if the Anafi would be a step up in terms of still photo quality, given its a 21mp...
