Photo Quality

Hi there,

I currently have a DJI Mavic Pro (1st version) which has a 12MP camera. My primary use for the drone is for taking still photos of buildings and landscapes - I don't do much with Video.

I was wondering if the Anafi would be a step up in terms of still photo quality, given its a 21mp sensor?

Has anyone else made the change from Mavic Pro 1 to Anafi, and what are your thoughts on the still image quality?

Also if anyone has any unedited jpeg files of landscapes (particularly if in the UK) could you share them please, so I could download and take a look.

The anafi can do way better stills than the MP, bought it for photo jobs myself, but you've got to shoot RAW and edit them well. The out-of-camera JPGs are trash IMO (unless they improved in later firmwares, but I gave up on them before even getting the anafi based on samples I found so I haven't checked).

I agree with Kilrah & AaronB, I only shoot stills too. I also was using 12MP, then came Anafi, small, 21MP, RAW.

To me it was an easy transition. Although Anafi is more work, it's worth it.
