Jonny from Dirty J designs has made available Landing Leg Protectors. The legs on this thing are a weak spot and these will reinforce them helping in a hard landing or a crash. Check out his other offerings. I have the Tablet holder and it is just great.

One of the legs had popped loose from a crash on mine....great idea!

It would be interesting to see an adapter for large phones that would allow leaving the case on...and using the lanyard.

Indeed, the two sensors on the bottom virtually touch the ground when landed and seem to have no protection.
