Beebop 2 camera will not record or take pics

Went to fly recently and everything booted up and connected properly. I have good visual on the camera but it wasn't recording, nor would it take pics.
So thinking the camera is broken I buy a new one and same thing, won't record! Internal memory is empty. Could this be a problem with the app?
Would a hard reset help??

If you have a good image from the camera it is fine. I would do a hard reset on the drone, a video link is posted in several of the threads here
