I had a small crash landing (about 5 ft. up) and now my Flight Pro app is giving me a "Defective Barometer Sensor Alert". There's no external damage. But, the drone doesn't connect over wifi anymore. Any idea how to fix this?
I had this also, it's the whole gps/barometer board that has to be replaced. Parrot replaced mine. It developped the fault within three months of purchase. It occured a few times the BB2 would flash this warning, break the connection and just land. It could be that it's just a faulty connector.
I don't get any message, but if for a test, as I thought it wasn't holding altitude, I set to 10 feet, I took off and flew around a bit. In a few minutes it was down to about 3 feet, and would NOT ascend above that??? So landed and then tried again - same results. it slowly assumes a max altitude of 3 feet - would likely go lower until ground level. Do you guys think the board is bad?? Other ideas??
Was having the same issue. I had recently purchased a used Ford off of eBay and was quite disappointed when I simply landed my drone and then received the barometer message. I took off the nose cone and noticed that on the GPS unit where the ribbon cable plugs in it was not seated all the way perfectly and the retainer clip was not down. Honestly it looked like it was connected just fine I would have passed it up under any other day but for some reason I felt a little anal about it so I clicked it in. I went ahead and fired it up and now it works perfectly! Who would have guessed LOL hope this helps somebody! Try this before you buy a new main board!
