Follow me time lapse / interval photo

Hi all, I've been using the Parrot Anafi for a few months now particularly with the follow me mode whilst out mountain biking over the local Wolds and open trails with some success at producing very nice looking video. What I was hoping to do is capture photos or do a time lapse whilst it is following me on my bike but the photo options seem to disappear when using the follow me mode. Am I missing something or is it totally not possible? Thanks in advance.
