I installed what it said was an update today 29th Aug but no fix for my video issue and was going to put in the feedback my issue but it has gone from installed and recent update list.

Back to my DJI drones I guess...

I didn't want to install small 23mb update to obviously fix a bug of sorts, (must be bug if only 23mb).
So decided to uninstall then reinstall the full package from play store. So uninstalled rebooted phone went to play store and there is no freeflight 6 app.
So now I can't use anafi today because of no app available on play store.
I know I can download and install from parrot website, but I will have to disable android security to allow third party apps to install. Which I think is totally unacceptable.
Plus feedback from support says they have no known problems with app on play store.
Which they obviously do.
Love the drone and all features and have never had any problems,
Very disappointed with parrot over this.

The version at parrot gives you 1.6.1-rc2 with newer drone and controller firmware.

Firmware would only download over mobile network saying no internet. Old version also had to be removed first.

Max altitude is 2.5 miles so be careful

I take it I would have to uninstall the modded app and then install the official APK to obtain the firmware updates for the controller and drone???

I am waiting until FF6 6.5.3 appears stable in the Play Store before I update. It appears to have gone again so I will bide my time.

I think next monday (after summer holidays of parrot developer staff) parrot give new app/firmware tested by staff developer during summer holidays.

Indeed, that is what I got and it seems to have least fixed my video file issue.

The one I just downloaded is only 270mb in size ?

OK so I went ahead and deleted my last updated FF6 which was V6.5.3 from the google play store yesterday. As many of you know the App is gone again today. So I downloaded the App from the link that IM35461 had posted from the UK site. He said his was 284 mb in size and the one I downloaded is 270 mb in size.
I installed the app and fire up the Anafi and sure enough there was a firmware up date for the RC and the Anafi.
The up date went smoothly. After the up date it had my camera in red and wanted me to do a camera calibration which I did. The calibration was different then any that I have seen in the past. Had a few more twists and turns added to it from what I could tell.
Other thing I have noticed is my flight count sits at 36 when I have well over 300 flights.
Also the Follow Me & Flight Plan are locked that I had bought wants me to purchase it again. ?
No flights as it is raining at the moment .

The app is a beta of old 6.52 and the firmware of anafi and controller is new beta.... very strange..

Indeed, I had to do the drone on level ground camera calibration and my flights all took a time to come back (only 81 for me).

My phone claims 284mb, very odd...

Even my older Android devices running the older version of FF6 has the in App purchase locked out.
When they get this straightened out this better be one heck of a better update LOL

In response to the in app purchase.
I could not purchase or update past purchase either.
But if you click to buy again, it comes up with Google pay and it says visaxxxfake. I just clicked that and it purchased without cost to me. I'm guessing that because its a test version for maybe developers, that in app purchase is free.
