Jeremy, since you mentioned the Disco specifically, its flight controller and the way it handles transitions between hover and forward flight tend to be where most of the interesting troubleshooting happens. The hardware side is one thing, but the firmware behavior is worth digging into early. What kind of tinkering have you done so far with it?

Jeremy's point about the flight controller is worth picking up. Before getting into transitions, I would check which firmware version is actually loaded, since hover behaviour and transition tuning can differ quite a bit between releases. The parameter defaults for the transition curve are also easy to overlook. What have you changed so far, and are you seeing this in stabilized mode or only when switching to forward flight? That distinction usually narrows things down quickly.
