While not my first flying device, the Anafi has been the best one I've ever owned. I just recently bought the Anafi based on it's camera specs and I plan to use it for photography more than video.
One thing I wish I had known about before I even took it out for it's first flight was how valuable the the rotor guards and leg extensions are! These are practically a must have for beginners or when flying indoors. (or both!) Even *if* the drone falls, the guards and extensions provide (affordable) impact resistance. I did on one occasion notice an extension was visible on the camera when the drone inclined while moving sideways, but that can be avoided by adjusting the piloting controls.
I would also recommend getting the "skins" to help protect the Anafi from scratches.
I've attached a couple of my first pics (processed the dng's with lightroom). I'm really impressed with the images considering it's a drone! I'm going to do more experimenting with the camera controls, while eagerly awaiting my CPL lens.
So far I'm loving this Anafi!
