To use app FreeFlight6 No present date gps to tablet
Drone yes gps. iPad no. Only señalice red color logo gps

iPad mini without 3G has no built in GPS.

Get a bluetooth GPS module, XGPS 150 or 160, or a garmin glo.

I’ve used each, the glo is less expensive and provides more updates per second, but has no app interface to see sats locked or battery status.

Xgps have a nice app that shows you details.

Both work with any ios app requiring location.
