Mini map issue

For some reason I am not able to access any satellite/hybrid image on my mini map .
All I have access to is the plain Google map,and all it shows is home,the Anafi location and the "fan" of optimum signal.
I have selected sattellite/hybrid but do not receive either one.
Any suggestions?
I have not had this capability after the last 2 updates.I use a Samsung S8.

Are you receiving satellites on your phone? If not theres your problem.

Location is enabled on the phone.Google maps w/ sattelite/hybrid works fine on the phone.Full GPS lock in freeflight....

Well deleting the App and a reinstall fixes a lot of silly errors. Give that a try.

When do you go onto airplane model with your phone. Before or after connecting to the anafi ?

Try downloading the map at the start of each session, before connecting to the Anafi, then switch to Aeroplane mode when you are ready to fire up the bird. Works for me.

Every time on both the iPhone 8 Plus & the iPad Air 2.

I do it like @Krusty Geeza wrote in post #7. Works for me as long as I stay in the covered area.
