Parrot Anafi 4K return to home doesn't seem to work - drone just hovers wherever it is

Equipment: Parrot Anafi 4K + Parrot Controller + iPhone 15 Pro Max

All works well, except I cannot understand the Return to Home feature. I tried many times today, but in most cases, when I press the Home button, the drone rises or descends to my preset hovering altitude of 30 feet and then just hovers there. It doesn't return to its take off point or to where I am standing.

What I am doing wrong? Here's a screenshot from FreeFlight 6 where I experimented with the Return to Pilot setting. But it didn't return to where I was standing and I didn't move my position at all after I pressed the Home button. It just descended to 30 feet without changing its location at all.

Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Did you have a strong GPS fix (Green Symbol) before you took off?

Did you see a message just after take off to say that the home point had been set?

The short answer to the above questions is Yes.

But I have a guess about what the issue may be: if the drone is already close to the Home Point (less than 10 meters or so), then it exhibits this behavior: it turns to face the home point and then descends and hovers.

If the drone is far away from the home point, then it seems to return to the home point correctly.
