Maybe the latest video tutorial I have added to Vimeo and YouTube, about my own experiences with airspace around airports in Japan can shed some light on those large depressing circular areas around airports that apply to you have been seeing in your research.

Douglas,
I am now back from my Australian holiday. I think that I did the correct thing in leaving my Anafi in the UK as it made the holiday less stressful with regards to flying, both international and domestic, in Australia. Also there was a lot of manned aviation at the places where I would have liked to have flown as well as the many no fly zones.

Thanks for the link to your video. It is interesting. Here in the UK things are changing regarding RC model flying as you may have heard.
