Cheap 7 inch android tablet

Has anyone used a cheap android tablet attached to Skycontroller 2? Price about 50 bucks. 1.3 quad core WiFi. No gps. 1 meg memory. Lollipop Currently using iPad tablet 10” A little big for my liking. Oh and what about iPad mini 2?

Need a device with gps.. any android pretty much work but, Apple supposedly best. Also the mini 2 as long as apple device are using ios 10 and higher
