Please give attention : If you find FF6 in the Amazon Appstore, than it is no problem..... Otherwise you use only the mod apk.... also not an issue.....
If you want to have Google Appstore..... it could be an issue...... if you want have root... check this in front (spec with the year)

I've just ordered this from Argos. Will be getting it on Monday, so I will let you know if it works ?

In the release notes just posted by Augustine, Parrot says any Android 7 or above will work with the latest 6.5.1.

So perhaps 8.1.0 is not necessary after all. Eagerly awaiting confirmation.

7 is minimum. It's the question how long. Maybe in the feature 8 is the minimum version. That's the reason, that I've buy the M5 lite and e.g. not an "old" Samsung (with good brightness /contrast) , which doesn't received anymore 8
