Replacing LED?

Has anyone replaced their led on the underside? Or added them for flying in civil twilight/night flying? Since you need them for flying half an hour before and after sunrise and sunset, I was thinking about switching out the blue LED for something constant and bright.

Have thought about it since the blue is actually hard to see even in daylight (and it's kind off dim) - wonder if a bright or very bright yellow or green may make a difference but I could be wrong. But I'm waiting until my warranty is up so probably next year.

I would not change anything with that built-in LED.
What about this here?

Use a Digispark Arduino board and make an LED strobe powered by a small rechargeable battery, velcro it to the back.

For those in the UK (or anywhere else) the Strobon Standalone is superb. Rechargeable, and you can get them in various colours. These were used a lot by the Mavic Pro guys. STROBON LED STROBE
