I've noticed that my phone with its case on pops out of the SC3.
I decided to design an adapter with a hot shoe mount.
It can also be used with a lanyard.
The hot shoe I use has a movable arm which makes it perfect for adjusting the screen angle.

BTW I just purchased this mini ballhead w/ shoe mount on Amazon for this project too. At about 30mm tall it should fit nicely.

I think my Dollar Store selfie stick's phone mount will work fine.
It has 1/4-20 threads.
