I am sloppyshooter on google.
If you check my Flickr site(I am sloppyshooter)you will see the sequence of shots from this real airshow crash. The sequence starts at High Alpha approach, goes through pilot ejection and captures the resulting fireball. My RAW photos were also used in the investigation of the incident by the Canadian government.I love shooting pics of airplanes too. That airplane pic of yours is incredible and seems unreal to have captured it at that very moment. Are you on the level or is it a photoshop?
Thanks!Wouldn't want to see it again.that has to be some of the most amazing stuff I have seen regarding an airshow accident. I imagine it was surreal when you captured that sequence. Although I hate to see a horrible accident like that, it was amazing you captured it and share with others. Thanks for posting, you really made my day!
Pete, I know the archers well as I own a Cherokee. I have to ask how you get shots of the ground with a low wing? I do it with my plane but wife hates it because I bank steep turns and use the little hinged vent on the left seat to stick the lens out. A prefer low wings over high wings for flying but cessnas with tip out windows sure are handy for aerial photography.
