Discharging of the batteries, not just while "in" the Anafi? Did it change with latest batt. update?

Update:

~96h after recharged to 100%:
1x44% (2 LEDs), 2x 40%(1LED)
(it seems to slow down?)
And I have NOT seen any LED flashing, in the past 4 days!
Around 40% shouldn't it be 1 steady, 2 flashing?
The "86h" check was still 2 LED steady!

~ 86 h after last full Charge:
1x46%, 2x 42%

About 72 h after full recharging:
1x 52%, 2x 48%

60 hours after charging to 100%:
1x 55%, 2x 56%

48h after last charging em to 100%
61%, 62%, 64% left.

24h after the last full charge
1x 76% and 2x 77%

I understand it, that you got this problem after the latest fw/batt updates?
But:
How old are your batteries?
Have you "tested" , used different chargers?
All my batteries are 10 to 14 months old and every one of them has less than 20 recharge cycles.
I use Tineer Parrot Anafi Battery 2-in-1 Home Charger & Car Charger, but not only. For individual battery charging, I use a DJI charger that is able to provide sufficient charging current.

OK so it has been 24 hours later and my battery is still at 99%. At least for this one battery I am not seeing any different discharge rates since updating to the new firmware. Like I said I never install my battery in the Anafi till its time to fly.

That is pointing out that some Anafi batteries may have a problem.
I usually store always one in the bird
(that is how the extended bag is designed for! ;-)
Just right now, my batteries have only been in the Anafi for the quick check, everytime

There has something changed lately.
I had your experience till some time ago.
And now on ALL batteries this "new" one.

My biggest problem with that: I think I can't find a dealer with batteries in Thailand!
The Anafi is not very popular here, it is a "DJI-Country"
At least in that price range!

Edit:
Aside that I am getting the idea, the "falling out of the Air" may be another part of this problem!

I used mine last night to go and fly. It was at 98% when I used it. Flew over to the falls up the road and took some video and pictures. No dropping from the sky and battery performed as expected. Used the same battery this morning to do some photo testing into the bright sun with my ND 1000 filter and it sits now at 60%. I will see how much farther it drops over 24 hours.

I checked mine of my brand new Anafi yesterday, and the battery which was charged on Sunday was at 99% yesterday, could have been 100 but when I realised to look it showed 99%

What I will do now btw, is use all my 3 batteries, in the morning charge to full capacity, and then fly until 60%, return and around 50% put them in the bag.

12*3=36 minutes is enough flight time for me anyway, and that way I will never have to worry about discharging the batteries for storage. I have to figure out the calibration though

I have the exact same issue than Ana789

Was travelling when I updated my 2 batteries (1st battery firmware update released), and I noticed a quick discharge.
Was not happening before, as I was used to charge the batteries few days before flying. Impossible to do so since then

2 batteries, 8 and 14 months old

As he wrote "Was travelling when I updated my 2 batteries (1st battery firmware update released), and I noticed a quick discharge. ", I would say yes.

I need to point out, again: I have not updated Anafi or batteries in 2020.
I am still on the "old" fw, 1.6.3

What else, except the fw update, did you do that time?
'cause I have not updated mine in 2020.
And still puzzled, what I could have done to trigger this.

That makes no sense, why is it still going down.....when was the last time you did battery reset (only thing that comes to my mind ?)

Just before this test!
Curios as to the procedure you performed on Hard reset of batteries
Did you perform while the batteries were pretty much discharged?
I could not find much documentation on how to perform when i did mine several weeks ago
I don't know what it actually does?

I would assume it calibrates itself when you hook up power to it and do reset....?

What else, except the fw update, did you do that time?
'cause I have not updated mine in 2020.
And still puzzled, what I could have done to trigger this.

I am on 6.6.9 and 1.6.8, and did only the battery update 1 time (never prompted again)

I was on a long time travelling plan, so with a drone routine that never really changed:
Full charged batteries, full day of hike, recharge at the end of the day, and then for the next use, batteries were almost full.

Batteries capacity are still around 95%
Performed several resets, did not change the issue.

To be honest, I think I remember it happened a bit before the battery update, because I remember thinking "that might be the fix for this discharge issue".
Then I got other issues with the Anafi landing without warning at 16%, so I kind of forgot the discharge issue, thinking Parrot might have changed the 10 days rule before discharging the battery.

When I have time, I will try to analyze my flight data to detect when it started to happen, and on which version.

So far I can't see any specific reason.
I did use a power bank to charge the batteries on some long hike days to get some more flights out of the 2 batteries. Maybe it damaged them.
