Flying in winter around 10 deg. F

Drone battery does ok in winter, maybe losing 2 min. in flight time. Sc2 is different. The sc2 controller loses power quickly. That is until I taped 4 hand warmers on the sc2 to keep battery warmer. It works great, Plus it keeps fingers warm too.

My sc2 won’t even turn on in cold conditions[emoji23][emoji23] got to warm it up with a heater before taking it out

It does, figuring a way to keep the controller working, by warming up the controllers batteries is the key. That's why I tried hand warmers. Besides, I think winter videos look pretty good under the right conditions. I would not try when it's below zero.

Seriously, that Happened to me too. Try taping hand warmers to the controller when it's real cold. If you are in Alaska, I bet all the stores have them, and here they are .. 25 cents
