Help/advice with connection issue

I've gotta strange connection issue I'm hoping someone can help out with. I've got a Bebop 2 power, a samsung phone and samsung tablet. I can use my phone either by itself or connected to my skycontroller (in airplane mode), but with the tablet I can only connect with wifi, I can't seem to get it to connect with the skycontroller, either with or without wifi on. Frustrating to say the least. Anyone have this problem? Any troubleshooting ideas? Using Freeflight pro, tablet is a Samsung SM-T113 Android v. 4.4.4, security patch level 2017-01-01.
