Is there a method to set the internal clock on the drone?

The timestamps on the files from my drone are incorrect. For example I carried out 4 flghts on Saturday 22nd @ 08:30, however the timestamps on the files from the drone are for 22:30 on the 21st. I am in Brisbane, Australia and that happens to be 10hrs in front of gmt, so it seems that the drone is set to that time zone.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Ian

Mine are correct. Latest firmware, and are you waiting for good GPS reception before taking off?

I am in Japan and also have noticed that the time stamps were for another time zone.
I didn't check exactly, but I thought they were showing the time in France.
I have seen that both GPS signals are showing green before taking off.
Also I have the latest firmware updates.
Regards
Douglas

If you open a video file with VLC you should see the time and timezone displayed at the bottom at the beginning.
Makes me think it would autoselect timezone based on location, but it could also be hardcoded as +2 (I'm also in +2 like France, so can't know if it ever changes...)

I am in eastern time zone in Canada and checked. It seems to be giving the right info. At least the time is correct

I noticed my ones in the UK have a file stamped date one hour different from the flight time. The flight time in the app log shows the correct flight time.

Are you guys using fake GPS by any chance. That could be a possibility. But not sure if this applies in these cases. Just a guess.

I noticed my ones in the UK have a file stamped date one hour different from the flight time. The flight time in the app log shows the correct flight time.

In the UK there is summer time now and therefore the time is Z + 1.00. In Denmark, the time is Z + 2.00 because we are east of Greenwich. When summer time has ended, your file will be labeled Z + 0.00.

Regards Leif.

The inconsistency I was seeing depends on where I am inspecting the timestamp.
I carefully checked the times when I did a sample capture this morning (September 25th) at 7:20 am.
VLC shows the correct timestamp for Japan, followed by the number of hours difference between Japan and GMT. That is, " Tue, 25 Sep 2018 07:19:55 +0900 - ANAFI-F......" Correct!
GMT was at that moment 22:20 pm Monday, September 24th.
But the actual file appears in Windows showing the GMT time (with no +9.00 hours adjustment)
See the 2 attached files.
Conclusion, Anafi is correctly displaying the timestamp for Japan , but Windows is being fed the GMT timestamp for the file on the PC, as "Date modified". There is no "Date created" visible in Windows for the file.
For me the way the timestamp is being handled by Anafi is quite acceptable.
Regards
Douglas

If you look at "Date" (aka neither "date created" or "date modified") that is correct.

'Date' is also working for me. It's a strange one as every other camera I have defaults to date created in Windows with the correct timestamp.
I've now set the Windows folder for my Anafi files to be 'Date'. This will most definitely help me find the required files when editing.

ARE YOU SUGGESTING I can record SOUND with the Anafi Drone? How? Please explain?
