Hope that the new anafi 2 is compatible for old anafi such as battery, Freeflight 6...etc...
So Parrot can continue to update and improve the App and battery.
Maybe one day we can use new anafi 2 battery in the old anafi.
I hope I can use non-chinese battery in my current anafi....

Politics aside I’m in for Anafi 2; my Anafi 1 has exceeded expectations.

I prefer positive advertising like flight time, specs...over negative claims.

That being said I don’t trust Chinese Drones like the DoD; however, that has nothing to do with my desire for Anahi 2.

Yes a pretty poor taste marketing campaign. As the guy commented, I cannot believe in the current climate, they would use words like this...... Could cause them some real pain if they end up getting boycotted by reviewers.

I did not see any announcement of a ‘consumer version’ of the Anafi.
Could you please point me on the part of the article where it is mentioned ?
I saw a ‘military version’ and a ‘civilian version’ of, what I understand, will be a 3 camera drone (way too expensive for me).
I also read Parrot wants to leave the ‘consumer’ drone world for a ‘professional’ drone one.
That’s why I’m afraid, all this buzz is not really for us ?

Hopefully the "old Anafi" will get the new legs and a couple of other improvements.
I still find the "one push on" is to often restarting the bird during trying to fold it/pack it away.

The military will be for the military I guess. Civilians are the rest of us I imagine.

The triple camera set up including the Flir thermal is probably the commercially focussed model. They have a current Anafi Thermal already aimed for that market.

They still sell the current anafi in the consumer market so I dont see why they would not offer the new one? I mean if they have produced a new airframe then don't see why they wouldn't make a model available to civilians. Maybe with a 2 camera set up ?

Better to wait until the 30th and see what they announce because they will be announcing something.......even if it's a dig at Chinese drones

They were discounted $200 when I posted my comment. Looks like they went back up in price. I did notice the extended version in your image is sold out.

Right now a "single" anafi would cost me more, an extended goes for 849€, I think.
Or even more expensiv.
And that is a price, people start looking for the next option, methinks.
It is just 200 more for an Air 2 with ocusync

I still don't think that there is an Anafi 2 in the box, on 30th.
Which would be a slightly upgraded Anafi, not a 3 cam "monster" for 3-4 times the price!

same. I can see they would develop the Anafi UA / tactical / whatever first as this brings in many government contracts. The anafi is good as it is I think. Maybe a little bit of weight and price reduction. The “cheap” legs on Anafi OG btw were actually developed to absorb sudden motion or change of direction, for anafi FPV and Thermal they use more sturdy legs, while shaving off some weight as well. I expect slight improvements like that. Anafi 2 would and should be a pretty big upgrade but it can still happen.
