Skycontroller 3 drain issue

Battery itself is prevented from charging (poor charging -> drain faster).
I don't understand.
The point in this thread is, that SC3 battery drains because of charging connected Android smartphones.
That is a question of USB technic, but not of battery protection circuit.

On SC3. It is just a 18650 LG cell Lithium battery. Most 18650 battery comes with a circle cap protection PCB circuit board.
Without trying to drag this thread off topic all of the 18650 cells that I have bought and most that I have seen installed in devices have not had a battery protection circuit attached go them. The charging and over voltage protection circuit has been provided by a separate PCB or built into the main board. Unless you have a schematic of the PCB in the SC3 you will not be able to say that Parrot have not provided battery protection. I would not think that Parrot would provided low battery cutoff as this could result in the controller shutting down whilst the Anafi was in flight at a voltage higher than that required to run the SC3.
