Hello guys,

I was wondering if anyone has had any problems after updating their drone. Today turned It on after a month of no use and it required me to update it. After the update I took it outside and pressed the take of button, flew it straight up to about 100 feet kept it there just looking down at our house and suddenly it seems like turned off... It just went on it’s side straight down. I don't know what happened to it, it was a very nice day to fly it, it wasn’t windy at all. It seems to me that it has to do with the update.

Has anyone experienced any issues after the update?

do you guys think parrot can replace it? It’s been less than a year since I bought it.

thanks

Welcome to the party pal. A recent spat of similar crashes indicates firmware update 1.6.5 is faulty. Parrot will probably replace your drone under warranty but only after you jump through a bunch of hoops.

Chasbro, Thanks for the response. I’ll be calling them tomorrow and hopefully they’ll replace the drone.

Can you please tell us what version of the Anafi firmware you were using?
The most recent is 1.6.7 but people have been reporting problems with versions 1.6.4 and 1.6.5.

Did the battery come off after the crash or did you have to remove it manually?

No, this is not iOS' fault. This is a bug in Parrot's new firmware. Battery management has been updated and has had unexpected consequences. This will cost Parrot a lot ...
Already approx. 8 cases were reported here on the forum.

Your right it's the update not IOS.. I've been flying for 6 years and have 5 other camera platform drones. I also fly FPV on mini quads ... it's the parrot update that's at fault

Yes, it’s 6.6.6 on my as well. Right now that I was looking for the software version I also noticed that the software didn’t record the time stamp of the flight yesterday. The last one is from last month
