Dear ds2atc!

I came across a terrible thing in the new firmware made by Anafi programmers! They force the white balance to AUTO mode when HDR is enabled.

In previous versions, this was not the case. It's awful!

I don't know if this is a bug that will be fixed in the future or if it is a deliberate limitation but I would like to ask you to see if you can comment out this part of the code that switches WB when HDR is activated.

Otherwise, I will hardly be able to use the drone and I do not see any way to return the previous version. I would be extremely grateful to you for that.

Unfortunately, without active HDR the camera of Anafi is very bad, as we have a lot of sun in Spain (which means high contrast of all scenes in the daytime). But the automatic White Balance is much worse than "HDR off", as it works illogically, incorrectly and unpredictably.

I could be wrong but altitude mode isn't needed anymore you can now fly above 150m if geofence isn't activated and flight plan goes up to 4kms now but you'll never get there cause of the power it takes to get to 4km also rember the laws big risks.

Was the Geofence set to on or off for that flight as when set to off it seems to reset the maximum altitude to 50m. It is raining too much to try here.

Maximum vertical speed = 4m/s
Maximum battery life = 25~28mins
Maximum vertical travel range = 28*4*60/2 = 3.4km
I believe RTH will be automatically activated at around 2~3km.
Thus 4km Altitude Max Range means there's no limit.

and before reaching 2km of altitude, maybe 1km, your connection will be lost.

Having a problem with the flightplan and vertical speed settings.
Made an experimental (fake) flight plan:
1. - Starting at 3m,
2. - Climbing up to 1022m (only 10m horizontal distance)
3. - Descending to 3m (again 10m horizontal)

Vertical speed 3.9m/s
The flight times are calculated to:
4'10" for the climb - this is in line with the set vertical speed,
8'20" for descending - only half the speed.

Why? Have I missed a setting?

I dont know the reason but maximum vertical speed while descending was always 2.x m/s although it was set to 3.9m/s when I control it manually. Maybe this caused the problem.

It could be - if the lower descending speed is intentional - that the lower descending rate is limited to avoid a vortex effect?

I do notice if the drone is directly above you it will cut out reception sooner because of how the antennas are placed on the legs... But if it's away from you there is good reception.
