    Skycontroller 3 and bigger phone

In this day and age of (allegedly working) 5G speeds and bigger phones, I'm thinking of upgrading my handset to something too big to fit into the Skycontroller 3. (1) Do I really need to use the Skycontroller 3? Does it add anything that a direct phone/Anafi connection doesn't have, e.g...

Drone user given Community Protection Notice for flying drone in banned Leicester park

https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/news/local-news/man-been-given-community-protection-2618373 Councils are able to back up drone bans on council-owned land by serving a Community Protection Warning. This is a simple written warning not to fly a drone in a particular place. If that is not...

Smart phone crashes while connected to Anafi in the air

I took my bird and two of my dogs to the park, hoping for some follow-me footage. As I had my hands full, I left the controller at home. I hooked my phone up to the bird by WiFi but, after take-off, the wind picked up. Though it maintained its hover position, it kept losing GPS signal when I...

    Controlling speed

When creating a flight plan, I know you can set the speed between each waypoint by long clicking on the small circle and selecting edit. However, how do you control the speed of the drone when flying manually, or is this simply based on how hard you push the movement sticks?

Uploading videos to YouTube and resolution

I either upload from my browser or using Filmora video editing programming. But I think I figured it out. A. Despite the instructions to the contrary, you don't specify a resolution when uploading a video to YouTube, you just upload the video in its existing resolution. B. When viewing the...

Uploading videos to YouTube and resolution

How do you post video in high quality on YouTube? There is no option anywhere in the YouTube settings to specify resolution, my Internet speed is very fast (200Mbps down and about 50Mbps up) but my videos, shot in HDD or 4K have their resolution reduced so much when uploaded to YouTube. (I've...

Can I use zoom during a flight plan?

Thanks, I will try this, I was afraid that touching the RC would stop the FP.

Can I use zoom during a flight plan?

Is there any way to use zoom during a flight plan, either automatically or manually (without stopping the flight plan)? I would love to fly at a safer, higher altitude but look as if I'm much lower by zooming into the point of interest. T

I forgot to turn off the geofence - what a noob!

I must say I had never heard of groynes before. The Wikipedia entry has a beautiful picture of a beach in Sitges, that looks like it was taken from the air. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Groyne

    Updating My Flights

How and when does My Flights in FF6 get updated? It always seems to be a day or more behind. Also, what does "Request my flight data" in the Data Confidentiality section do? Isn't the flight data the information in the My Flights section which gets automatically downloaded to the app? Or do I...

Is it safe to fly the Anafi Parrotb off a cliff?

Would the Parrot assume that ground level was still the level of the ground on the cliff and therefore be unable to descend lower than that when flown off the cliff?

    Return to first waypoint?

Is there any way to close a group of waypoints in a flight plan, so the drone returns to its first position? It doesn't seem possible to create two in the same place. I wonder if there is a function I am missing, like the Insert waypoint function, which I discovered yesterday, that does this?
