I recently took the drone back out and the charging led was red, and the controller charged. Now it's at about 5% and the charge led is green, and the percentage won't go up. What can I do about this?

Do you charge the controller while it is on and connected with FF6/drone?
I always charge the controller switched off.
By doing this: if the charging LED becomes green (end of charging) and then afterwards you have only 5% connected with FF6, I would be worried about the controller battery.
Then I would open a ticket with the seller or Parrot.

The battery is fully dead now and won't connect to my phone even when plugged in to an outlet. The only time it charged was when the light was red

Unfortunately it looks like you will have to contact either your supplier or Parrot and get a replacement.
