I tried from version 1.6.5 to 1.6.7 with app FF6_6.66.204 with vpn on USA and fake gps in USA and it didn't work in FCC mode.

I am flying in FCC as well now, lol
channel 40 or 161 both work amazing, but the difference is only after 1000m and then it gets really, really hard to see the anafi so I set it as a geofence

As Jerome said in the dev forum, there's no workaround on the SDK side(app).
The only fix is the firmware update.
