As Jerome said in the dev forum, there's no workaround on the SDK side(app).
The only fix is the firmware update.

No, they will never release an official firmware that enables FCC in Europe. Their CE, KC, and many other certifications will be canceled if they do that.

However, the country selection is a part of the SDK, so user's will be able to change the mode without the official one if the firmware problem is solved.

But we should not forget about Taiwan!
Just because China makes most airlines fly to "Taiwan, China", it is still undoubtful NOT MAINLAND China!

making a patched version for IOS is a totally different ballgame to the version for Android. Much the same on the DJI scene, everything concentrated on Android version as it allowed access to file system much easier than IOS ever will be.

I've one question :
in the Opening Thread there are this possibilities :

In this moment my Anafi is still on 1.6.0 and the controller 1.6.1.
Not 1.6.3!
The mod App give me the possibility to Upgrade to 1.6.4. (Update for Controller and Anafi is available).

If I want to stay with the current Firmware on the Anafi /Controller (till the current issue is solved) , can I use the mod Version 6.6.2.203 or does I need a lower Version?
If yes, which one.
The reason is, that - I'll believe--something is changed between the app and Controller /Anafi and I don't want risk a crash or fly-away.

Should I use this version (6.6.0.1)

Uncomfortable I can't use the mod apk, because the tablet is not rooted (BL code needed) and I lost the Flightmap. So the org. FW with alt limit of 4Km is interesting I suppose the rooting has nothing common with mode apk version. From the point of Android, the mod version displays like the orig.
